A life not shared is a life not lived.
Recently I heard a quote that got stuck in my head. A life not shared is a life not lived. And I couldn't agree more!
When I stop and reflect on my life and everything around it, I keep returning to the thought that for me what matters the most are relationships with other people. You aren't really fully living if you don't share yourself with people surrounding you, people that you love, and people that are in your life by your own choice.
Also, I read somewhere that Albert Einstein once said that life isn't worth living unless it is lived for someone else. And it got me thinking. It's important to focus on yourself and what is inside, but when caring for others it gives life a whole new meaning.
I don't really know why I favored this particular topic, but obviously, I'm just in an "emotional season" and am not ashamed of that. I'm a person who experiences things very intensely and I love that about me. Superficially is something I don't fancy because I really want to know people who I interact with on a daily basis. Be open-minded about whom you meet, but be very selective about whom you invest emotion in.
So let me finish with this, we are creatures with great capabilities and we shouldn't take anything for granted. Love is what makes the World spin around.
